CSG Engineering specialises in the fabrication of pressure pipe lines, pressure vessels and structural steel work. Our Brisbane facility services the gas, mining and industrial sectors. Our management systems are accredited to AS/NZS 9001 Quality and AS/NZS 4801 Safety. We are committed to a safe working environment. Our vision is that we can perform our operations in such a way that no one is injured in the work place. Our facility is located on a 2 hectare site with over 3,000m2 dedicated to fabrication plus an addition area that is a dedicated hydro test area, non-destructive test and over 4,000m2 of hard stand. Inspection and Test Plans are agreed with the client at the start of the project.

Pipe spools and pressure vessels (separators) are fabricated in accordance with relevant standards including but not limited to AS4041-2006 Pressure Piping and ASME B31.3-2008 with testing in accordance with AS 4037 Pressure Piping and Equipment – Examination and Testing. Vessels are inspected to AS 3788-2006. General welding and structural fabrication is in accordance with AS/NZS 1554 Structural Steel Welding. We provide engineering and CAD drafting services. Complementing our fabrication services, we provide specialist electrical and instrumentation services. We manage independent audits such as Pre-Inspection EEHA Audit and AS 1210 vessel inspections, reducing field time audits and delivering cost savings to the project.

The fabrication area is equipped with numerous welding bays to undertake welding processes that include MIG, stick and TIG. Pressure pipe bays are fitted with pipe rotators for the efficient fabrication of vessels and pressure piping. Two 5 tonne cranes cover the entire fabrication area. This enables safe and efficient manufacture. Volume manufacturing set up is supported by a range of jigs to eliminate errors and rework. The machining area includes a 90 tone shear punch, milling machine and a lathe.
