ASCOPE Conference and Exhibition 2013

ASCOPE (ASEAN Council of Petroleum), whose members consists of ten Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries, will be organising the 10th ASCOPE Conference and Exhibition 2013 from 28-30 November in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With the theme ‘Innovation and Co-operation - The Way Forward’, the 2013 conference and exhibition will be a continuation of the last ASCOPE event held.
The event is held once every four years and is touted as the only ASEAN oil and gas event to bring together all ten national oil companies in the ASEAN. Law makers, industrialists, and oil and gas players will gather at ASCOPE 2013 to make significant decisions that will change and propel the landscape of the region’s oil and gas industry.
The event will showcase exploration and downstream initiative, regional policy, and legal and regulatory framework; undertake joint techno-economics studies; develop a knowledge management system for information exchange; promote and share researchers’ works; and discuss new oil field discoveries, environmental protection, the changing and competitive global market, and the deployment state-of-the-art equipment. The current issues relating to the oil and gas industry that are faced across the ASEAN markets and ASCOPE’s upcoming plan will also be discussed in the conference, providing delegates thought provoking ideas to take away.
