APPEA's 2015 Health, Safety and Environment Conference will focus on the theme of 'Simplicity from complexity - the future of HSE governance, performance and innovation.'

Building on the success of APPEA’s inaugural HSE conference in 2014, the APPEA 2015 Health, Safety and Environment Conference will be held on 7–9 September in Perth, Western Australia.

The oil and gas industry is entering new exploration frontiers, developing new production technologies and grappling with fluctuating oil prices.

With this rapidly changing environment, there is a strong need for robust discussions across every level of the industry about health, safety and environment management priorities, and how to optimise HSE performance in a time of budgetary constraints.

Built around the theme of Simplicity from complexity – the future of HSE governance, performance and innovation, the 2015 HSE Conference is set to be a must-attend event for anyone working in upstream oil and gas.

The HSE Conference provides an essential forum for the industry to share knowledge, lessons and expertise, and work together to achieve high HSE standards across all of the industry’s onshore and offshore activities.

HSR AND OSR FORUMS

The APPEA 2015 Health, Safety & Environment Conference also incorporates the HSR Forum and the OSR Forum.

The Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Forum is an opportunity for the industry’s workforce safety representatives to come together to further develop their safety skills and to share workplace experiences, issues and solutions, with the ultimate aim of achieving high safety standards right across the industry.

The Oil Spill Response (OSR) Forum provides a rare opportunity for operators, contractors, service and support organisations, researchers and government agencies to come together to share the latest developments in oil spill response policy, technology and practice.

Registrations open in June 2015.
