Chevron has awarded Neptune Marine Services a $5 million contract for engineering and offshore services at the Gorgon LNG Development, located offshore Western Australia.
Beginning this month, Neptune will oversee the installation of piping, the development of an offshore pump station, and provide support for the construction of a new supply barge facility.
Article continues below…The Gorgon LNG Development is operated by Chevron in a joint venture with ExxonMobil and Shell. The project’s scope includes an LNG facility with three trains, each with a capacity of 5 million tonnes per annum, a carbon dioxide injection project, and a domestic gas plant.
