ENEX is New Zealand’s Oil & Gas Expo – returning to New Plymouth for the third time this June.

Since its inception in 2011, ENEX has gone from strength to strength and is now recognised as NZ’s “hard hat” industry event of choice. ENEX provides an event to showcase the industry supply side’s abilities to meet the operational demands of the future.

With the industry currently under restraints through the low price of global oil, it is even more important for peers to meet, discuss and network, to prepare for and get the most out of the next upward cycle.

The industry expo is free to attend and will offer many exhibitor supply-side trade stands and co-located seminars covering technical and environmental issues, data management, procurement and supply.

To highlight opening content - John Kidd will be speaking on oil price benchmarks and how they have plummeted over the past year. What are the reasons, what is the outlook and what are the implications for the local oil and gas sector?

John Kidd is Director, Head of Research, at Woodward Partners and previously was from Edison Investment Research where he was Head of Research, Asia Pacific.

Mr Kidd has over 15 years of analytical, consulting and equity research experience across the energy and resources sectors, including four years at Shell’s global head office in London where he worked on the development of new exploration and production, gas and petrochemical business ventures across the Shell Group.
