FutureGAS Awards deadline extended

A number of excellent 2013 FutureGAS Awards nominations have been submitted, and due to popular demand, the deadline has been extended to 25 January 2013.

The awards are being held as part of the 2013 FutureGAS Conference and Exhibition, which will be held from 12–14 March next year at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. They will be hosted at the event’s Gala Dinner, which is sponsored by Comdain Infrastructure.

Some of the companies that have already been nominated include:

  • WDS
  • Energy Skills Queensland
  • Jemena
  • WellDog
  • Tresed Liquid Waste.

The 2013 categories are as follows:

  • Gas Industry Innovation – the Gas Industry Innovation Award recognises new developments (products, projects or initiatives) that contribute toward the advancement of the gas industry.
  • Major Contributor – the Major Contributor Award acknowledges the major and sustained contribution to any sector of the natural gas industry by either an organisation or an individual. It recognises a contribution over and above the call of duty.
  • Project Management Excellence – the Project Management Excellence Award celebrates the success of a gas project in the face of significant challenges, with a focus on the combined efforts of the project team to overcome adversity.
