From the 20-24 July, the University of Western Australia will be running professional development workshops at its Crawley campus, looking into gas processing and LNG.

The workshops are aimed those with a technical background in engineering or science, with the goal of deepening their understanding of the technical aspects of gas, and the processes that are used to deliver it to the market.

The engineering principles used to understand the processing of natural gas will be reviewed and explored, as will associated applications of simulation to solve real-world problems, equipping participants with skills that could be very valuable in their careers, and a new perspective on a very important discipline. The two workshops, Introduction to Natural Gas Processing, and LNG Production, will cover many topics over the five days, from fundamentals of natural gas to cryogenic extraction of LPGs and NGLs.

Registrations are now open for the workshop. Bookings can be made through the UWA’s website.
