MWM Energy offers industry leading high efficiency gas engines that are ideally suited for cogeneration, trigeneration and innovative power generation solutions.

Visitors to FutureGAS 2009 were interested in MWM’s engine technology and how it ensures consistent, high quality performance while monitoring gas quality and adjusting fuel mix settings.

MWM Sales Manager Simon Helps says “As a sponsor and exhibitor, we feel the event is well targeted at designers, engineers and policy makers. These are the people whom we want to make the important decisions on adopting new technologies and best practice solutions.

“We are working to build awareness of the savings resulting from the operating efficiencies of MWM’s gas engines.

“The fuel savings alone deliver an economic benefit, multiplied by the savings due to localised (distributed) power generation that avoids all the electrical losses incurred during transmission from conventional coal-fired power stations.”

MWM believes that highly efficient gas engines used to power the built environment can significantly contribute to reducing Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions.

Apart from natural gas applications, MWM’s engines are designed to generate clean power from synthetic gases (produced with thermal processing of raw materials), biogas, sewage gas, coal mine gas and other waste gases.

MWM Energy Australia Managing Director David Sparano says “We are taking an active role as an industry leader in clean energy solutions, working with project designers, consulting engineers, cogeneration packaging specialists, policy makers and other interested parties to improve the energy performance of new buildings as well as the redevelopments of older sites. FutureGAS is a great forum to bring those people together.”
