New Zealand’s Oil & Gas Expo returns to New Plymouth for the third time in 2015

New Zealand’s Oil & Gas Expo – ENEX – has gone from strength to strength.

New Zealand’s Oil & Gas Expo – ENEX – has gone from strength to strength.

Since its inception year in 2011, ENEX has gone from strength to strength and is now recognised as NZ’s “hard hat” industry event of choice.

ENEX provides an event to showcase the industry supply side’s abilities to meet the operational demands of the future.

The industry expo will be free of charge and will offer, among many exhibitor supply side trade stands, free seminars covering technical and environmental issues, data management, procurement and supply.

Alongside the expo there is the introduction of new half day conferences for industry executives, these being themed:

  • Workforce Management in the Oil & Gas and Supply Services Industries;
  • Health & Safety in the Oil & Gas and Supply Services Industries; and,
  • Asset & Corrosion Management in the Oil & Gas Industry.

The Workforce Management event looks into issues and challenges that the industry is facing due to workload fluctuations and skill shortages. Learn about recruitment strategies and techniques specific to the oil & gas sector, how to build a strong talent pipeline and why employer branding matters.

All the Health & Safety sessions are tailored to the specifics of the oil & gas and related industries. It’s vital to know about the compliance with the new legislation, hear about why investigators should focus on the what, not who, and discuss the science of human errors.

How do you optimise your assets? How to apply principles of master data management in asset management? What are the new alloy developments for upstream components to improve corrosion resistance? These are just a few questions the Asset & Corrosion Management conference will seek answers to.
