The Gala Dinner and Opening Cocktails are a chance to mix with industry colleagues, see old and new friends, and enjoy an event dedicated to promoting and celebrating industry innovation and success.

The Gala Dinner will feature an address by Chris "Buddha" Handy and a delicious three course meal. An irreverent former Wallaby hooker, Chris Handy has played some 54 games for Queensland, and was one of the select band of Wallabies to have lifted the Bledisloe Cup on two occasions.

Queensland Minister for Natural Resources, Mines and Energy Hon. Stephen Robertson will officially launch the conference on Tuesday morning. Over two days, the FutureGAS business program will facilitate discussion and debate over a broad range of topics facing the gas industry.
