Roc Oil has released an update regarding its Basker Manta Gummy (BMG) oil and gas field operations, located in the Bass Strait, Victoria.
The Crystal Ocean floating production, storage and offtake (FPSO) vessel and Basker Spirit tanker returned to the BMG field in late November, following a maintenance and vessel survey program, during which a flare gas compressor package was successfully installed on the FPSO.
The Basker-2 well subsea repairs and inspections were successfully completed while BMG was offline. The Basker-7 development well production tests were completed across four reservoir zones during December with a maximum individual zonal rate of approximately 1,000 barrels per day of oil.
The BMG oil and gas field operations are a joint venture, with Roc Oil as operator along with Beach Energy, CIECO Exploration and Production, Sojitz Energy and Pertamina Hulu Energy Australia.
