The inaugural 2012 Australian Syngas Association Conference will be held on 28 August at the Sebel and Citigate King George Square Hotel in Brisbane, bringing together global synthesis gas players, government representatives, service providers and other stakeholders.
The keynote speaker, Shadow Minister for Energy and Resources Ian MacFarlane, will provide an overview of his vision for the role of a synthesis gas industry in Australia’s energy future. Queensland Energy and Water Utilities Minister Mark McArdle will open the evening cocktail/networking function.
Delegates will also hear from industry experts about their development journey and the challenges ahead, as well as insights from government representatives and ambitions and planning in this area.
“Together, these leaders in the field will share critical knowledge and independent analysis on emerging trends in energy technologies, policies and markets,” says Australian Syngas Association President Peter Bond.
