Mermaid Marine Australia has been awarded a contract for Woodside Petroleum’s Pluto Gas Project for a newbuild anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel.
Mermaid’s vessel, the DP2 8000-bhp AHTS Mermaid Vision (pictured), will support ongoing platform and subsea installation work at the project. The vessel is currently mobilising in Singapore.
Article continues below…The $A12 billion Pluto project will process gas from the Pluto and Xena gas fields, located in the offshore Carnarvon Basin, Western Australia.
